Per la sfilata Prada Uomo Autunno/Inverno 2024, AMO crea una scenografia che contrappone gli interni di un ufficio a un paesaggio naturale. Svelando la paradossale dicotomia tra questi due mondi coesistenti, la sfilata esplora le verità fondamentali dell’umanità, i nostri istinti naturali, i nostri bisogni emotivi.
Alla base c’è una semplice affermazione, di un bisogno umano profondo ed essenziale di entrare in contatto con il mondo circostante. Il ritmo delle stagioni e l’ordine naturale delle cose determinano i gesti che caratterizzano i capi, che a loro volta rispecchiano e reagiscono al contesto in cui si trovano, a questi ambienti disparati e distinti, interni ed esterni.
Questa collezione affronta qualcosa di essenziale: l’istinto emotivo innato di rimanere legati a qualcosa che conosciamo, ai cicli della natura. Un mondo fatto di stagioni climatiche, non una realtà artificiale. Questi abiti riflettono l’idea dell’ambiente e delle stagioni, che ci accompagnano ovunque siamo. Si avverte la sensazione dello spazio aperto, dell’attualità della natura e l’espressione diretta del desiderio di uscire, di vivere il mondo.

For the Prada Fall/Winter 2024 menswear show, AMO creates a set design juxtaposing an office interior with a natural landscape. Demonstrating the paradoxical dichotomy between these two coexisting worlds, this show explores fundamental truths of humanity, our natural instincts, our emotional needs.
There is simple assertion, of a deep and essential human need to connect with the world around us. The seasonal rhythms of nature, the natural order, determine gestures within garments. These clothes in turn reflect and react to their surroundings, to these disparate and distinct environments, interior and exterior.
This collection is about something basic the emotional instinct to remain attached to something that we know, the cycles of nature. A world with seasons, with weather, not an artificial reality. These clothes reflect the idea of the environment and of the seasons wherever you may live. There is a sense of the outdoors, of the actuality of nature, and direct expression of the desire to go outside, to experience the world.
